Looks like a new tranny and TQ might be in the future.............

Looks like fluid ran low(never saw any leaking), tranny temp light came on. And damage probably occurred before fluid was refilled.

Going to try a fluid flush now. Will see what happens.

I'll either get a used trans and a new TQ from suncoast, or I'll pull the trans out of my parts CRD.

So, you end up buying a new transmission or what?

I would strongly suggest the new "euro" TC (only about $225 from MPD). Absolutely no shudder or other issues with GDE HOT tune which has even more torque than IM SII.

Yes, thats what I was thinking. Along with a new filter kit and see what happens before buying a new trans.

Right now it seems to act like the torque converter is just locked up.

Without me searching............does anyone have the part numbers for the torque converter, and the filters from jeep?
