What tranny modifications should i do while im in there? Transgo shift kit? suncoast mega kit? What are some of you guys reviews? |

How did your turbo fail? Apparently the jury is out on suncoast vs euro OEM. It would be hard compare them. They have different stall speeds, and the price is not even close. Suncoast Tc's have not eliminated shudder. (at least not for everyone) |

I recently had the TC & pump replaced. I did my due diligence and discovered that the Suncoast TC is a well made and extensively tested product designed for heavy duty use as in a race car, trucks, and diesel vehicles that are going to pull a lot of weight. The new Euro TC was designed not to be worked as hard. The Euro TC is meant to be installed in a vehicle that does not go through heavy duty use but instead used in a daily driver that is not to exceed hitch pulls. I purchased the Transgo Kit with the new TC and pump but I did not install it. Karl from TransGo advised me that due to the fact I had the new pump installed, I do not need to install the revised pump parts included in the kit. He told me to eliminate that part of the kit from the installation and to install the rest of the parts only after I had tested the new TC and pump for any arising issues. He said eliminate any issues arising from the new installation prior to installing the TransGo kit. Needless to say the Kit is still in its original box, unopened. I regrettably purchased the TransGo kit before speaking to anyone at TransGo. The installation was performed 5 weeks ago and so far the transmission is performing well with no issues. I’ll keep you posted. |

I'm not sure what your saying but here's my take on it There are several here with the Sun Coast TC that have shudder. The shudder is said by Danoid to be the cushion springs on the TC bottoming out. The so called "Euro TC" is designed and used in the new version VM 2.8L that puts out 100 foot pounds MORE then our CRD's. Additionally it's cost is give or take $300 What's not to like about it

www.boostcontroller.com for the Samcos. I tried ordering from another place for less $$, but they kept stalling me on the delivery date. I finally cancelled, ordered from Boost Controller, and had my hoses 3 days later. I did some looking at the mega pack, and was discouraged by members of this board. Apparently the mega pack is for serious race applications, and unless you are taking the Lib to the drag strip you probably won't be happy. Most seem to be satisfied without it; I don't know of anyone on here that has it. That's a lot of $$ to spend if you're not out there quarter-miling it. |

I recently installed the euro TC and updated mopar pump and it has eliminated all of my tranny problems. I haven't done any towing yet (race season doesn't start up for a couple more months) so can't comment on that side but it's a night and day improvement. |
