Where is the actual opening for my CRD's air intake? I need to screen it off because of friggin mice... ![]() |

The easiest way to install a grill is.... 1. unplug the two sensors on the air-box and turbo inlet hose - move aside. 2. unclasp airbox lid retaining clips - remove airbox lid/filter element - set aside 3. with a firm grasp, wiggle and pull up on the airbox to remove from fender. Mounting is done with rubber plugs, so don't worry about bolts/screws. 4. remove lower air-box inlet hose from grill section. 5. install screen between grill inlet elbow and lower air-box inlet hose. 6. reassemble. I did this when I found the carcass and full plumage of an adult blue-jay in my air-box on my last filter change. How it got in there... I will never know! |

Or you could just do the V6 gasser airbox mod. I think it would be tough for a blue jay to end up in there for sure. |
