Try posting it in the 4x4 section or tires & wheels.

You will need more lift then the safest lift for the CRD can provide(CRD Frankinlift). If you don't mind cutting alot of stuff you may get away with 31x10.50's but you will need to have them on 15x7 rims with 4.5" of BS,15x8 rims will cause more problems the the 15x7's and the 7" rim is more then enough for 10.50's with the 8" rim being a bit to wide.

Ran 32's on the crd. Trimmed the front and rear out, and was running the RK lift.

OK. I was just wondering because a lot of people have claimed to run 265/70-16s on stock wheels and those are equivalent to 31x10.50s....so I thought just maybe they'd fit. Reason I ask is because I already have a set of Black Rock 15x8 wheels with 4" of backspacing and brand spanking new 31x10.50s mounted to them on my ZJ. I'm about to sell the ZJ and will maybe keep those wheels and tires. But...if they won't fit the KJ, then I might as well go a little smaller and get a 245/75-16.

265/70's and 265/75's are closer to 31x9.50's then 10.50's.

It is the width and offset of the 15x8's which would cause you the most grief.

I have 31x10.5's on Crager Soft 8 15" wheels. Currently running Goodyear Duratrac's, had Interco TrXus tires before that. I'm running the standard CRD Frankenlift II (without the extra spacers). I believe that is 2.5" lift. I had to do a bit of trimming plastic in the wheel well, and had to flatten the pinch weld seam with a BFH (pretty simple). Runs great, no rubbing, CRD powerband is just in the right place. Picking the correct wheel is crucial due to width/offset. I have the Crager Soft 8 #3975812P, Black Steel, 15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 4.5 in. Bolt Circle, 4.75 in. Backspacing.
