PML. I believe they have two options now with an even 'deeper' pan. The temp gauge boss is like another 10 bucks. My only compliant has been when changing filters its a witch to get off because of the sealant. |

My Extra Deep PML Pan: Left View including temp probe: ![]() Probe location: ![]() Right View: ![]() How much it hangs down: ![]() The PML Extra Deep pan keeps my Trans Temp nice and cool, even when towing. The warmest my Trans Temp ever got was 180 f when I was stuck in a traffic jam and it was 96 f in the shade. When ever I start moving at least 45 mph even when towing, the Trans Temp drops. Something to think about if you have a Chrysler OEM Torque Converter with a plastic stator and plan to do some heavy duty towing. I Can't afford the Suncoast or a tune that goes with it yet, but it is in the plans. The VW Type II (Turbo Diesel) in the back ground found a new loving home last fall. |

I like the idea of the bigger pans but AFAIK none of them will allow a skid plate which would kill off roading for me. |

There are several posts in the Fabrication section that any DIY or local welding shop could make with ease. Consider recycled materials from a local scrap yard, put on some rust converter and spray with truck bed coating. With the state of the economy, there should be someone Moon Lighting and looking for a few bucks. When I get the time, I will make mine and post the prints. If the Illinois roads get any worse, I will find the time sooner ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I install a PML pan and is great but you have to be aware that when you fill the pan and check the oil level you have to do it very fast to get a good reading. The pan cool the oil so fast that after 2 minutes the stick read that you need oil and your not. I love it . ![]() |
