When you look at the door tag, there is a production date, and there is a less noticeable MDH hiding out, for example:
MDH: 020913
This stands for Month Day Hour, this MDH would mean Feb 9th, 1am. Then the production day year will be on the other tag(in case there is any doubt as to the year).
This picture should help explain the door tag(this is a photo for a 2000 MY XJ, but the same concept applies to the KJ CRD)
The idea is to get a range of the production times, and maybe see how the limited/sport breakdown occured in 2005 and 2006.

I'm asking for the MDH so we can track to the hour of production and so we can track that to serial/production number(serial numbers are sequential). By doing this I hope to more accurately track down the start and end of US CRD production. I've been doing this on the XJs and have found some interesting information.
