Just did the EHM. I have been running in ORM mode (MAF unplugged) for about 50K miles now. Should I plug MAF back in (to enable EGR) now that EHM is installed or just leave it alone?

The EHM and ORM aren't related. The alternative to the EHM is the Provent; the alternative to the ORM is the SEGR. You should leave the MAF unplugged.

x2. Leave the MAF unplugged till you install a SEGR or GDE tune.

x3, although I would still get an SEGR even with the GDE tune. Those guys are awesome, their tune fixes a LOT of what Chrysler broke from the factory... But the EGR is evil and must be destroyed.

Even the tiniest amount of egr operation puts you at risk for the stupid thing getting stuck open. It is such a failure-prone component, people have been having them die at 16k miles after replacement.

I've got the SEGR and the GDE tune... Loving them both. Now that I've figured out this power loss issue, I know it has NOTHING to do with the GDE tune, and I'm a happy oil burner again. Heck, since my problems all started right around the installation of this new engine... *I* might have an egr stuck open. The one I have came with the engine, I never inspected it.

I drove 80 miles today. Mostly highway. When I got home, I checked the EHM hose and it is clean. I went back and looked at the EHM link with info & pics and saw that the pics with oil in the hose were from 300 miles of driving in town. However, I am just checking to be sure - After 80 miles..., is that normal to not see any oil in the hose or my oil trap yet?

Yep, it should only collect about a couple ounces over the course of several thousand miles. The hose will turn black, don't worry about that.

Look closely in the hose up close to the spout of the CCV puck; you should see a small pool there. When I did my EHM, it pooled there for about 175 miles before it spread inside the hose.
