I just (finally) received my oil pressure and water temp gauges, and was wondering if anyone else has installed any.

I figure I'll mount the oil pressure sender on the firewall as i don't think it will fit in front of the stock unit, and use a t fitting and run a hose to it? (i don't want to add more fittings and lines due to potential damage or failure/leaking etc but i must?)

How bout the water temp? when i changed my t-stat i thought about trying to drill and mount one there, but it seemed to risky for the price, plus i did not have dimensions for my sender unit.

CRDMiller,

How is your new temperature gauge working, have you noticed better performance?

I went to napa and they had all of the fittings i needed in stock, i will update the thread after install with photo's.

I bought a 1/8 npt tee with one male end (brass)

and for the water temp a 1/2 ntp brass tee (three female) with 2 1/2 ntp to 3/8 hose fittings.
