Why? Just why. BTW it is a CRD with the rear window broken out and a piece of plywood for the glass. |

Nice pic. I bet the guy broke it out on purpose after getting tired of the lock/unlock procedure. |

Seriously yours? Why do that? I don't know for other companies, but I've got Esurance. Windshield glass is free in all 50 states with every company (safety thing) in many cases they consider the REAR glass also a "windshield" so that could be free too... But with Esurance - ALL glass is zero-deductible. I got the side door glass replaced with my windshield a few weeks ago - Totally free. |

No it's not mine. I'm a redneck, but my wife isn't. There's no way she would let me do that. I wouls at least use a nice black plasic bag to keep the cool black tint. |

That is just wrong! Plywood rear windows should always be crafted of steam-bent, 1/4" baltic birch sheet material, with a minimum of one western red cedar brace, properly scribed to mimic the curvature of the original window. Finishing should consist of 2-3 coats of a quality spar varnish, hand-rubbed to a smooth satin gloss. Dual catches featuring adjustable knob height, wide-ranging grip adjustment, and positive click stops to indicate full engagement should be implemented on the lower edge. Sheesh. Amateurs. |
