I was at the dealer the other day picking up my MAF and just happen to ask about front coil springs and struts (no, don't need them, but was just curious) and for what they quoted me I could get a set of front and rear OME coils plus OME front struts for just $100 more or less, and then be able to ditch my OTT spacer lift!!!!!! So, I'm wondering..........for those who only did the OME swap with no additions like top strut plates, 3/4" Daystar spacers or clevis lifts via conduit nuts, how much did you actually achieve??? |

about 1.5" like it says. I think my fronts were sagging a bit as I noticed it the most in the front. But what they advertise is what you get. |

The 790's gain about 2 1/2" ..... it's 1 1/2" longer - but it's 500 lb/in instead of 410 lb/in and the normal ride height compressed the springs. center of wheel- to edge of wheel well is now 20.5 - stock was 18 something. and that's with an ARB. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=43472&hilit=compare+heights |

Then in back I can keep the 2" spacer, ditch the bottom OEM isolator, and get 4" in back and have the 1in rake f/r the way I want. Level look is great, but load any weight into the back and then you get it sitting like a lowrider in the rear and I hate that more than a raked look. |
