a question,maybe someone might have experience or know even,think one of glow plugs needs changing,but thats not my question are glow plugs still in use after a kj crd is warmed up,as was told that some jeeps use there glow plugs too burn off excess fuel in a small degree,is this true of crd kjs |

The glow plugs should not be on with the engine coolant above about 30-40degC, depending on various inputs. |

reason i ask ,i was told by grease monkey that some jeeps use glow plugs too burn off excess fuel,and as my jeep can be smokie at times ,was told might be because of glow plugs |

You need to upgrade from your grease monkey to a real mechanic. In monkey fashion, he's flinging stuff. Smelly stuff. |

probly,but was a friends grease monkey,not mine thank god i think a glow plug need too be changed anyways as getting harder too start even in warmer weather,think its smokie because it has alot of mileage on it |
