So I went and grabbed a few gallons of waste fuel from testing, pumped the fuel into a 5 gal container to give to a friend, in doing so I accidentally pulled the transfer hose out of the container...... got a nice big jet of fuel on my jeans.

So now im walking about smelling like diesel and SVO, could be worse, I couldnt stand it if it were gas.

I suppose I could change pants.

Sir Sam,

Are you blending the WVO with Diesel and using it as fuel in the Liberty?

What are you using as fuel?

Does it work?

I got 5 gallons of 50% #2 50% SVO here.

With nice red dye in it.

You make enough to afford the fine, right?

This is leftover waste fuel from emissions testing on a JD4045 engine, its the mixed fuel we have during switchover between diesel and SVO when it comes out the fuel rail return.

And in case anyone was wondering, SVO is better for overall emissions(NOx, CO2, THC, don't recall the particulate emissions right now).

My wife fuels her Jetta TDI herself and hates it every time cause 1 time she got some D2 on her hands from a dirty pump handle-- I tell her stories of TDIers and CRDers getting fuel on clothing all the time and how we all like the smell!
She never tops off - goes to the first click- gives me plenty of room in the tank for some B99 I keep at the house for lubing and she is getting 660 to 675 miles to the tank! So I tell her to please put up with the smell!

Roland,
Have you told her that many stations have the disposable gloves to fuel the tank?
