Can anybody provide me with information on which Kennedy lift pump to use? The pump shown in pictures in the "how to" write ups is black. I do not see this option on Kennedy's website. I believe we should use the blue pump that delivers 4psi show on the Kennedy website under the Duramax parts tab ($195). Just want to confirm before I order.

if it were me..
there are some others that I would consider first.
the dodge ram cummis carter lift pump..98-02 stock lift pump. not the intank version
the green pump from advance auto parts.($60).works great. 9-10 psi. this is on my wife libby at the moment
holley blue..a little big( physical size).

anyway just about any lift pump to provide 4-10+PSI will work.

got the money..look at a AirDog 100 or a Fass system..sure more pressure than most libby's see but these are used on dodge Ram's common rail..most with more than 15PSI pressure at the CP3.

I went with the Mr Gasket Diesel Micropump for $45 at Amazon. Figured I could buy four of these for the price of one Kennedy.
