Did mine myself when I installed the SunCoast Converter. The TCM will learn around the resistor, but not the rest of the KIT. I do feel the difference and still do, no more of the "I am not sure I want to shift crap". If you want the effect of the resistor rig up a switch that by passes the resistor except when you want to humiliate an idiot next to you at a stop light. The valve and springs for the front pump are the fix for the pump and not a lot more work than just swapping the front pump. For putting in the rest of the Transgo kit, keep every thing clean, you have ~50 bolts you will need to remove to get at the valves, unless you have done it before, plan on taking your time, have your honey and kids not bug you, shut off the cell phone, and don't answer the land line, you don't want the interruptions between steps. Make sure you use the stronger valve plate Transgo supplies. I would not give mine up.
