The Chevron station is toward the south end of town on the east side of the street, but north of the Maverick. Maverick is .10 cheaper on the Wasatch Front, but I've never seen it vary more than a couple cents/gallon in Moab. It all comes in by tank truck either from Salt Lake or New Mexico.
As of two days ago, #2 diesel was 3.30/gal at all the stations and bio was 4.00 in Moab. It was 2.95 here (North Ogden, UT) on my way out of town.
No secret handshake, but it is kind of a makeshift pump. Stewart wasn't around when I was in town, but if you see him, ask where the fuel is coming from. He was getting soy bio from SLC. Last fall he was hyped about getting sunflower oil bio from a plant starting up over in Dove Creek. Anybody heard anything about that coming on line?
JL, is there a station on 72nd S in Salt Lake that sells bio? I'd love to get some B100 so I could mix my own. I would have brought some back from Moab if I'd planned on it and had a way to get it home. In fact, I may make that a priority for the next trip down.
