Just wondering about how much would you say an 05 sport (sunroof not sure of other options) with 57k miles on it is worth. I looked up KBB and NADA and they vary by around 2-3k if i rem from late last night. So anyway if any of you have purchased a used one from a dealer can you give me an idea of about what you did/would spend? I'm going to look at it in a few hours and I Just want an idea so i can have a leg to stand on if i do decide i like the jeep and start trying to work out numbers with them.

Thanks

$14k seems to be where they are settling now. There are a good number showing up so find a clean one :SOMBRERO:

I know where there is a NICE Sport for sale (the one I bought new in 2005) and the second owner is asking $11,500 for it. Been meticulously cared for since day 1, and it already has been lifted and has brand new tires on it.

I paid $15,900 for my Limited back in January and felt like I got a fair deal after searching around.

Ok they are asking 13995 I'm in a stubborn mood today so i'll most likely play hardball because i don't have to have it, and i want to see what their finance rates are. Man i hate car salesmen. The last time i talked to one a few years ago he tried to talk me into his wifes montecarlo when i was at a dam ford dealer.. Set me off. lol

I'm not really into wanting a lifted one. I want it for MPG and carpooling for work.

The lift doesn't raise it much - Only 2 inches b/c of the IFS. Any more than that, and the front CV shafts will be torqued too much. BUT the advantage is that you can run taller tires. I have what I believe is the tallest size on a stock suspension - 215/85/16 sitting under mine right now, and I love them.

$14K (13,995) is way too high for a sport around here. I bought a very clean one for $11k with 69K miles on the clock.

We picked up an 05 KJ CRD Sport with sunroof and 50k miles for $10,500 in June 2009. This involved driving from Michigan to Maryland to get the vehicle. Prices will vary based on region and demand. In the last year it seems as though the value of the CRD has increased $1000-2000...very strange! The dealer should be willing to drop the price at least 2k, just focus on all the problem areas with the vehicle. With all the fluid/filter/hose changes you most likely will do after purchasing the vehicle it could add $300+ to the purchase price of the vehicle...make the dealer feel bad about gouging you if possible.

I purchased my 03 Sport last month from a private seller for $8800.00 Had less than 60K miles with some package that gives you a sunroof/six spoke rims/fancy stereo. Very well cared for, not a rock chip or scratch on it, just needs new tires which I was going to do anyway after a lift.

Does your 03 have a (CRD) diesel?

No diesel. I looked at a 05 CRD Limited at a dealership.........$15K was way too much for me with 70K miles.

I purchased a '05 sport CRD with 36K from a dealer in Daytona Beach for $10,900 last October. It was very clean and has been a great vehicle (so far).

Bought mine after leasing for 39 months last September. '06 Sport, completely stock @ $11,700.00. 34K miles. Approximately $2,100 for extended Maxcare Warrantee from a dealership online in Ohio. Purchased from Chrysler Financial, who did the original lease deal.
