Probably best posted in another section of the forum, like General Discussion.

Maybe, but the diesel is heavier in the front and should tend to wear out the springs and ball joints a little quicker.
I know there is a guy that builds upper A arms with replaceable moog ball joints.
If no one else is replacing the upper a arms then I should look somewhere else for my front end noise.

I had my right front replaced a couple months ago. Wheel had a little lean to it. Tire worn. No noise though.

Actually the diesel really isn't that much heavier up front than the 3.7 V6. Now compared to the 2.4 it is alot heavier.

Tommy,
The springs went flat at 20k miles. The dealer offered to replace them but I said, why replace them with something that would just go flat in another 20K miles. Got the OME springs. The lift is a little high for me but OK, I got used to them.
I am sure someone will pitch in here and know just how much heavier the diesel is, but it is heavy, a tractor motor on the front axle heavy feel, cause that is what it is, a tug, but good.

The CRD weighs 200lbs more than the V6 (and all of that weight is up front). You can read it yourself here:

For that reason you should not be running the same springs. If you add an ARB bar (or pretty much any thing else from a Nudge bar on up) you need to factor that into the spring selection as well.

I still got the stockers at 99K miles with lost of off road. JBA is too dicey for me.
