Well has around 95k miles now and I have a clunk (not everytime) when I just start moving from a stop. Seems like a driveline issue, anyone else have something like this?

It's been on here numerous times. It is the slip yoke binding a bit. No biggy. Lube it if it bothers you. Otherwise just drive it knowing it isn't hurting anything.

X3, just 4 bolts to drop the drive shaft, grease up the xfer case output shaft and re-install. I used a wide zip tie on the dust boot.

Could be a loose or bad motor mount too.

Is it worst when you come to a hard stop and stay in that spot until you let off the brake? If so it's probably the slip yoke of the rear driveshaft.

Didn't think of that, I'll check for a bad mount.

I had something similar with my rig. I was talking to Marlin Gehman (JBA) and he was telling me that its often the upper ball joint on the tri link that wears out and causes the axle to shift and "clunk" sometimes...Might be worth checking out.

U-joints in the rear shaft are notorious for failing before 100K on these rigs too. Mine was trash at 80K.

Greasing the slip joint stopped it for me.
