I have a problem with my Sirius radio and Uconnect on my CRD and I wonder if there is something unique to my vehicle, CRDs r whether this is a common KJ issue. Quite randomly (several times in a row, once a couple weeks and sometimes not for a couple months) the Sirius/Uconnect goes out. When I pull the 34/35 fuse it resets (usually the first time, even for 10 seconds, I have had to do it a couple times a few times) and is good to go for another random period. There is no pattern I can figure that sets off the problem like temperature, mileage, or anything at all. The other components covered by the fuse work (the interior lights, cluster lights and regular stereo) it is only the Uconnect and Sirius that go out and need to be 'reset'. Any ideas as to fixing this?

I wish I coud help you out..... those are nearly the only two things my Jeep don't have. I have dock type aftermarket Sirius unit direct wired to the RB1 Nav radio's FM antenna input. to me this setup works and sounds good plus I can take it inside to listen if I want. Also I prefer not to have my phone conversations blasted over the stereo so I'm not sure I would like uConnect.
