what kind of fuel pressure is ideal for these cp3's? i have seen the thread about the cummins lift pump an i think they should supply about 10-15 psi, just wondering if that is too much would a lower pressure be better for these cp3's thanks in advance jake |

Less than 10 is what I have always seen here. The "Mr Gasket" style of inline pump puts out about 4-5 psi IIRC, and for about $40 is the best deal I've seen. I've had one outside my tank for more than a year now, running great. |

Check out the threads in the CRD Tech section, you have several choices that work. |

I have a Kennedy pump that works well. Pressure is about 3 to 6 psi. |

I've never been explained the difference, but this CP3 is different than the Duramax and Cummins. I ran 20 psi in my CR Cummins for a while. And some of the highly moded CP3s for the trucks require 40 psi. This one won't do that. <10psi. |
