There are many problems with the Jeep and Chrysler. Print out the problems off this forum such as it needing a lift pump, fuel filter head, egr valve problems, transmission problems, window regulator problems and trust me you will have window regulator failures. Then go to the dealer with this info and confront them with it. Get a better price or make them give you an extended warranty. Other than that it seems to be an OK vehicle but a pre 2006 dodge diesel truck or pre 2003 ford will give you close to the same mileage with a whole lot more vehicle for the money.
Don't you be hating now, even if you are 100% correct.
If you keep the windows up when it rains and do not spill beer on the switches, no problems with the windows here.
You did not mention the springs that went flat on me at 20K miles.
I have 80k miles now and am in a dilemma about keeping my CRD.
Everything has been done and it runs like a top. I love it.
But in 20K miles will I be able to get the parts to do the water pump, timing belt, alternator and pulleys?
Will I be able to afford to drive over to Green Diesel Engineering to get the work done?
