This is only Jeep Liberty related in this way:

Jeep makes the LIberty CRD which are diesels
This is an ad for a car company which also makes diesels

I remember the hubub when Volkswagen started using TDIs in the rally racing circuits. First people laughed. Then VW started winning. Then people complained it was cheating.

Looks like diesel power is starting to get accepted into circles other than big pickups and tractors. :)

FREAKIN' SICK!!!!
I love that sound, and the video is extremely cool. Although horsepower at racing revs makes no sense in an SUV, it makes me feel tingly all over to hear it.

check out this small video of the Banks Dmax type-R road racing truck. Click on the top vid with the truck on the dyno with the headlights ON. Its a Dmax that sounds like a freakin gas V8. :shock: Actually most the videos on that page are pretty freakin cool :wink:

All of the videos are pretty cool. The type R video sounds like a cross between a jet and a big block v8, sweet. Hopefully I will be able to buy a CRD sometime in 06, I can't wait.

Audi R10 TDI! Mwwwwaaaaahhahahahaha! That's just evil!!! I wish the mechanics would work on my Liberty that fast!

That Banks truck is nasty too! There were in the last Diesel Power that I read. Gotta subscribe to that mag, it's a good one.

Thanks for the links everyone! I've added them to my movie library! I say that this is very Liberty related because I'm going to start shopping for an R10 engine swap kit. :twisted:
