Post subject:  HELP getting to the driver's engine mount!

I need to replace my driver's side engine mount. How in the heck do I get to the bottom nut? The front differential is right below it. I can't figure out a way to get to it, even with extensions and a universal joint. If anyone that has replaced this mount could give me some advice, I'd surely appreciate it.

Thanks!

Did you already read through this? If so I bet calling GDE would get you a tip on that nut. I used a open/ boxed wrench to try to make sure it was tight- sucky location

Report back on that removal and replacement if you get it, good luck.

I had read every thread I could find, but non had mentioned the driver's side. I finally got it though with this:

The 3/8" one was just small enough to get in there and get contorted enough to wrench it off. What a pain! The wrench was $17 at harbor freight. It isn't the best quality, but even if I only get this one use out of it, it was well worth it.

Do you have a name and SKU/part number for this socket wrench? I went to Harbor Freight and couldn't find one like it.

Thanks,
Drewd

I was under the Libby today, I looked at it and thought if I need to remove this bolt, I could easily put a box wrench on it, that I would use a pry bar to get the wrench started.
