Hi everybody, I'm writing from Italy, a week ago an engine warning light came out "ERROR P0299 BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR POSITIVE DEVIATION". Does anyone know where this sensor is placed?  A picture would be great. My car is a "LIBERTY 2.8 CRD year 2005". Thx a lot.

A quick search reveals that this is possibly just a clogged MAP sensor. Instructions for cleaning can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=22630 If that doesn't fix the problem, it may be an issue with your EGR. It seems that purchasing a GDE Tune (greendieselengineering.com) has fixed that problem for most people (along with providing lots of improvements in other areas). You will have better luck posting this question in the Liberty CRD... Love That Torque!!! section. This section is mainly for technical writeups, not fixing new issues. |
