Great film it provoked a lot of thinking for me. What we need is to put the things in that movie to use and this world would sure change.
What gets me is we were on the edge of starting the way to develop this stuff way back in the Carter presidentcy and it was tossed out by the incoming administration.

The video is Clever Political Spin based upon some Theories of the Academic Community used to obtain grants from our Politicians. When they can't convince us the oil supply is running out, they tell us the Oxygen supply will run out and try to back it up with Theory since the real truth is unknown. Now we are under the Theory that the CO2 levels will go up too high and we will all burn up and starve. Before that back in the 1970s, the excess CO2 was going to start another ice age.
There are new theories that show the oil comes from carbon deposits in the earth's crust instead of fossil remains, this Theory conflicts with the Fossil Fuel Theory. But since the oil from carbon deposits does not fuel Fear Mongering and News Media ratings, it is shoved off to the side. Who knows which or if both theories are correct in contributing to the oil supply?

In reality one side points the finger at the other side and makes accusations of Political Corruption just to empower them selves. Please step back and see the big picture.
Any new technological advances in Energy will be by those who look for solutions and spite of our Political Leaders and their regulations.
Most of our Politicians can only find ways to empower themselves, very few of them are true leaders who do what is right, History has proven that many times.
