Hi Guys. What would be some signs of worn glow plugs? The reason I ask is that my crd is getting harder to start once its been sitting for a while. I bleed the filter head every week or two, so i don't think that's the problem. And the last point is that the temp here in Alberta is getting a little cooler. Any advice would be appreciated.

Been a diesel tech for a long time and I would venture to say that you may need some new plugs or possibly a controller. Not real sure about the diesels that Jeep uses, but a block heater is highly recommended.
You can also pull them out and ohm test them. If they test "open" then they require replacement as well.

Quick tip for you: Don't allow your plugs to cycle constantly, they could mushroom and make it very difficult to remove them.

Other things to think about are the condition of the battery and starter. I thought my battery was going south and it turned out to be the starter.

If the glow plugs don't pass resistance check you will get a check engine light. Been there a lot this summer.
