Well,I finally got the rad drain open(THANKS ALL!)+got to changing all the hoses. The 8 bypass hoses are ,of course, dealer only items. The tension clamps are a pain in the arse to remove!Does anybody know what dealer labor is on this?I did this since I had to change the thermostat+figured I'd flush the system at the same time.NOT a fun project!!!Kurt |

I hope you reused the spring clamps ![]() ![]() Good hoses, I'm not sure of the ones Chrysler uses, should last 10 years or more. That is my experience with VW's. Expecially diesel powered ones that don't get as hot under the hood. 40 years ago I bought some heater hose at the local parts store that didn't last 2 days before bursting ![]() |

Do you still have the invoice with all of the part numbers for the hoses? Interestingly, Mopar Parts America told me that the water pump bypass hose was not available at the time that I ordered my water pump back in July. |
