Well,I finally got the rad drain open(THANKS ALL!)+got to changing all the hoses. The 8 bypass hoses are ,of course, dealer only items. The tension clamps are a pain in the arse to remove!Does anybody know what dealer labor is on this?I did this since I had to change the thermostat+figured I'd flush the system at the same time.NOT a fun project!!!Kurt

I hope you reused the spring clamps :?: Was there any sign of deterioation on your hoses? The reason I ask is because my 93 VW Eurovan that was made in September 1992 (18 years ago) has miles of special hoses and they are all original and looked good last month when I changed the antifreeze. I know I'm pressing my luck but it's now the third vehicle and does not stray too far from home. Some special VW hoses can cost upwars to $100 and the Eurovan is about as special as you get

Good hoses, I'm not sure of the ones Chrysler uses, should last 10 years or more. That is my experience with VW's. Expecially diesel powered ones that don't get as hot under the hood.

40 years ago I bought some heater hose at the local parts store that didn't last 2 days before bursting  But I think most hoses have improved a lot since then.

Do you still have the invoice with all of the part numbers for the hoses? Interestingly, Mopar Parts America told me that the water pump bypass hose was not available at the time that I ordered my water pump back in July.
