Here the choice I got from Mopartonline Part Number: 56044737AF Automatic transmission controller, liberty, 2.8l 2006 $196.65 Part Number: 56044737AG MODULE TRANSMISSION $196.65 Part Number: 56044737AH Automatic transmission controller liberty, 3.7l 2007 $196.65 Part Number: 56044737AI MODULE TRANSMISSION $204.70 Part Number: 56044737AJ MODULE TRANSMISSION $232.30 The last digit is suppose to be revision but now I'm not sure anymore, a member tell me he order one this year and get the AG version for is 2006 CRD and I think Joe Romas tell me they all AJ now , so what should I bought for my 2005 CRD? Does th AF version they sold got the pre F37 in ? Mystery and buble gum!

I would think the one ending in AA is the oldest, but that is not even a choice, and if it is new, most likely will have the F 37

This is a good question for Keith at GDE, post it up on their forum and get his views. |

If they all the same and the last digit are just reference to revision programming why a $35.65 difference in price between the AF and AJ? This is strange... PS: Mine got AI revision |

Does th AF version they sold got the pre F37 in ? Mystery and buble gum! ![]() All the same F-37 crap much of which has been re flashed to the latest version. One thing to watch out for is that some TCMs are neutered or damaged (jury is still out) can not be re flashed to a better original or performance configuration. SunCoast has a Restoration Flash that brings it back to Pre-F37. ~$200 BG Chrysler has a Super Duper Hot Rod flash. ~$450 GDE has their flash that some like. ~$300 Or you do a bunch of research, pull a TCM out of another older Mopar 545RFE Truck or SUV and go through the slow learn routine. Lots of Dakota 5.7L Hemi with 545RFE transmissions that were flash neutered to a 4 speed yanked 5.7L HEMI 545RFE Grand Cherokee TCMs and did the slow learn routine. Another donor is an early 5.7L Hemi/545RFE TCM out of a 1500 RAM that has a separate ECM & TCM. So OldSkull, since there are some mountains and hills in Quebec, you may like the GC TCM over the Ram TCM since it shifts a little higher and will give you the hill climbing capability. Needless to say, you can get these two Frankenstein options cheaper (~$75+) than the Liberty TCM or the flash. PM me if you want to do some TCM transplant experimentation. |

I'd like to hear from someone who has the BG Chrysler TCM programming. Don't know anyone who has experience with it. Lots of people have experience with the GDE TCM programming. It's just amazing how well it works. I don't see any point in buying an additional TCM for several hundred $$$ which will provide no benefit. It only makes sense to get the pre-F37 flash from Suncoast or the GDE. DOC |

Doc OldSkull has a intermittent problem with his TCM and ECM communicating back and forth and his TCM is suspected
