I checked the ohm from the four blades on the four pin connector with the meter grounded to the negative battey post and got 0.00 ohm on all four plugs. Is this the correct way to test them and what does a 0.00 reading mean all four glow plugs are bad?
Just got it back from the dealership and they don't know shiolah about the diesel jeep.

Check your Ohm Meter with a known resistor, your readings sound too low.

the correct number is .5 to 1 ohm
the problem is that many testers can't read .5 to 1 ohm - it's too low
check the manual and make sure you're on the right scale

however bad is normally about 200+ ohms - so the odds are you're okay
