Throwing a P1267 code#4 glow plug. Still have warranty left so called the dealer. FYI they said glow plugs are on national back order and the first 120 are already spoken for. |

That just might be good news Someone said Bosch stopped making the ceramic ones. Of course our ECM's will need a flash to work correctly with them |

They have already mentioned that if/when this happens you simply email them a copy of the dealer installed tune and they'll apply the changes and email you the tune you have that will include the changes

I just replaced the glow plugs. What came out was Bosch and what went in is the 80041 Bosch and they looked exactly the same. |

Is the 80041 number the Bosch part number for what VM put in and Chrysler sells? I just googled "Bosch 80041" and came up with this. "Bosch Glow Plugs Glow Plug - Inconel 601 - Jeep - Liberty - Detroit Diesel 4-Cylinder." from this site. http://www.streetperformance.com/part/b ... 80041.html Are Inconel metal ones?? |

The numbers on the new and old glow plugs are just productions numbers for they don't match either Mopar or Bosch part numbers. Both had Bosch written on them at the same place and looked exactly the same. |

The new glow plugs for the Liberty CRD offered by Jeep are metal and it involves more than just replacing the plugs. |

I wonder what Fiat/Chrysler/new car company will do as "old car company" built our crd's

Weather you DIY, or take it to the dealer. |

Did Chrysler mention anything about needing the engine controller to be retuned for the new glow plugs and relay? We would be amazed and skeptical if it did not...but it would reduce our potential workload |

How much does this kit cost? Sounds like it would be good for me the next time around. |
