So the end tank on my rad cracked and I needed a replacement. Bought one of these from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-Jeep-Liberty-KOYO-Radiator-A2482-2-4-2-8-L4-/270661713233.

It said it would fit the 2005-2006 2.8. I was a little worried as the picture didn't look like the old rad. But I checked NAPAs website and it listed this: http://www.napaautoparts.com/Search/Detail.aspx?A=NRSCU2482_0240358682&An=599001+102005+50038+2038037 which looked the same so I thought I was OK.

These rads do not fit. They are too wide and the filler neck (which the old one doesn't have) is in the way.

So just a heads up for anyone looking for a replacement - these won't work. Now to try and get my money back and find a used one from a wrecker.

Unfortunately, the one with no filler neck has the outlet and inlet on the wrong side. I suspect it is for the 3.7 gasser.
