My CRD has 64,000 miles. Yesterday we lost all power. You could floor it and she barely moved. Garage says code was on for turbo and mass air. Replaced mass air-no dice. Disconnected exhaust-no dice.
Anything else it could be besides a blown turbo? $2300 for a new one!!!
Need some help please!?!

Howdy bldrumm

Tech tends to be for solutions - after folks have figured out the problem - you get more responses over on the CRD...Love that Torque section.

We had a no power/ no turbo boost issue with ours over the summer, and it too had set a low turbo boost Pxxxx code but sorry I don't remember the exact number. On ours it turned out to be a vacuum control solenoid on top of the right inner fender well. I'd start testing over there first, one solenoid is triggered with key on power and the second inline to the trubo is PCM controlled.

Had a crd do the same thing for one of our customers. Intermittent loss of power. Could put your foot in the pedal and barely went. It had a boost code. Replace the boost sensor and problem was gone. Dunno if thats your problem but its worth a shot.

My 06 liberty lost turbo power about every 8000 miles. Always the same thing the turbo boost sensor. Dealer replaced it 3 times under warranty. After the warranty was up I learned that the sensor can be cleaned with jet spray gumout. The sensor gets clogged with carbon. Cleaning it sure beats replacing the sensor at 125.00 a pop.
