Hi Guys,
On the way home from work, the CRD started running terrible.
I wonder if there is air getting into the fuel lines since I just
replaced the fuel filter. It runs as if the EGR is stuck open.

It shakes bad and has no power, no CEL though...........

Ideas?

Thanks,
John

Try to pump the primer and crack open the bleeder valve?
Lift pump is the cure.

Thanks again warp2diesel,
There was air in the system.

I think it was my error, I did not tighten the filter
enough when I put the new one on. I have the tendency
to over-tighten things, so I was trying to be careful.

Tonight I turned it gently with the filter wrench, about 1/2 to 3/4
of a turn, it's snug now.
