It has to be relatively simple without too much detail or too many words, or else it can not be read except very close up.

I agree, but we are not going for a bumper sticker here, the mercedes ones can only be read up close. What's more important is that we make something that can be recognized more from looking at it from a distance, some of the different mercedes ones have different color and patterns, to the trained eye that lets you know what the mileage is just by looking at it. Something similar would be nice here.

Agreed. Good plan.

{/joke on} Guess I need to go drive it more to get to that 100k. {/joke off}

Right now I am thinking maybe we will have the first one made to say something like

Jeep 100k
Mileage Club

Then after that we just do a simple badge to put below it that says the mileage.

150,000
Miles

Once again I would love some creative input, I guess it's time to open it up for the general crowd and see what they think.

Just have a simple badge that says "100k Jeep Club", "150K Jeep club", "200K Jeep club", etc. etc.

Owner can either place the newest next to, or remove the old one and replace with most current.

If you want to add coloring start with bronze for 100K, silver for 150K, and gold for 200K, etc. etc.

Also have separate badge or emblem with vehicle specifics, such as "Powered by VM Motori Turbo Diesel" to distinguish beyond the cryptic (to the average person) CRD designation.

If you want to keep it at reasonable cost, consider custom license plate frames. Not as catchy as an emblem or badge, but much more affordable.

run's like its new. timing belt was done at about 120k with no signs of breaking or microcracks. we didn't replace the water pump at the time and its' been fine so far. I think i have to clean the Map sensors since they haven't been done in a while but other then that its been fantastic.

Had a tranny flush about a thousahd miles ago, probably had previous ones i just dont recall. Serpentine belt, timing belt, all the pulleys, turbo hoses and all of those known parts replaced. engine is completely bone stock, no tune, no segr, no provent no nothing and i've had absolutely no problems. Sometimes i think you guys go a little overboard on here  . Oil was changed every 5000 miles and all of the usual maintenance done religiously.

But i do have plans for a euro TC and hot tune in place. But before that comes full skid plates and rock rails first.

edit: as for mods i had it frankenlifted at 145,000~ about and put 265-70-16s on a few hundred miles later. has had the bullbar on since it was fairly new and the stock size same spacing wheels around the same time.

I was going faster when I took my picture :SOMBRERO:

Issues:
Torque Converter recall
Front ball joint recall
EGR replaced under warranty
Air in fuel issue fixed by lift pump and Racor Fuel head
Right Rear Brake caliper sticking - replaced brake caliper
Two U-joints on rear drive shaft. - Replaced with higher quality units, no issues since.

Everything else has been self inflicted :jester:

Forgot to mention, EGR was stuck CLOSED(lucky) once and was replaced, from what i remember that was at about 80,000.
