Does anyone know of a reputable diesel shop in the Allentown /Reading Pa area? I started seeing oil on my garage floor,took ths jeep to my mechanic and he tells me to sell the car... apparently one or more of the turbo seals are wet...and allowing oil to seap through.I have no mechanical ability to try to rebuild it myself... is this a job that the dealer can comfortably do,or should I listen to my mechanic and get rid of the truck? My 05 has 99K miles and has been trouble free for the most part. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I forgot to mention that he checked the turbo hoses and they are fine.lately the truck has been throwing black smoke,especialy on power and at lower gears.I was on the highway in cruise and on a hill the transmission downshifted throwing a black cloud of smoke...and it isn't the first time either... could this all be due to the turbo oil leak? Thanks again for any help. |
