Well the light is coming on and it did so right after a fill up. I know I should switch stations but is there any way to drain the water out? Or do I have to just replace the filter?

on the stock filter there is a plug to drain it - however considering how hard it is to get it to come on - I'd bet you have a lot of water - I'd change filters -and add some Powerservice.

I had this once two years ago. I was able to drain it to keep going on a trip. I changed the Filter when I got home.

Assuming you have just a small amount of water, you should be alright just draining the Filter.

How close are you to a Filter change? If it's close, it might pay to change it now.

What I like about my Racor with the see through bowl, I can see any water before it hits the paper and trashes it.
My fuel cooler reduces the heat up/cool down that draws condensation from damp air.

Ok thanks guys, my PSD Drains with a simple petcock. Figured it wouldn't be that easy! I think I'm close to the filter change, so I'll change it and put some additive in. Thanks again

There is a filter drain on the bottom of the filter. Might be a good idea to drain now and decide what to do.

Is the Fuel in Water light anything like the Water-in-Fuel light?

Ha sorry I was a little ticked-off when I made that post!

To top it off it wouldn't start today at my Girlfriends work! Put a new filter and some diesel 911 (froze my butt off, its like 12* here today) did some bleeding and pumping and it fired back up... man thats not a fun process!!

It doesn't take much to get the ligt to come on.... I once triggered it after power washing my engine bay.
