I have to run some wires to through the firewall on my CRD Monday and was wondering if there was allready a spot I could run them through with out having to drill a hole through it.

Id look myself except the wife stole the CRD for the weekend...

I can't say for sure, but I'd suspect there may be a rubber grommet or plastic plate where the clutch linkage (for a manual transmission KJ) passes through the firewall.

You might check to see if it has the same penetration as the gas models. You can check out my write up for this here. Let me know if it is there and I'll update the page with the info.

Sure Did! Right above the gas pedal.
Thanks very much for your help.

Weird thing though, had to disconnect the battery for a while now the automatic speed sensing door locks stopped working. Gotta figure that out.

I was able to sneak a few wires between the hood release cable and the rubber grommet. Pushed a straightened coat hanger from the cabin side, between the grommet and cable, and duct taped the wires to the coat hanger on the engine side and pulled them thru.
