I ordered the bleeder valve kit from LS but it seems the piece that replaces the bleeder screw has tighter threads. Anyone else have this problem? pissed. This is holding up my lift pump install. |

My screw was a little gummed up when I put my valve in so I just got a small bolt with matching threads at Home Depot (disposable) and threaded it in and out a few times then sucked out the grit with a vacuum. The bleeder threaded in fine after that. Dan P.S. I haven't touched my bleeder (nor needed to) since I put in the cummins tank pump... |

I tried that set up when I first got my CRD just because I liked that it had the hose and could be blead more neatly and cleaner than with a rag like OEM, but I never was able to get it right. mine kept sucking air after shut down so I went back to the OEM set up and tossed this one in the shed. Not sure if the problem was me and how I put it togther or the kit but the OEM one is working fine now for me. |
