I came across LOST looking for info on the liberty CRD and was drawn in and have read through pages of posts with my mouth watering as I imagined the rumble of the diesel engine. As I was looking and searching for "the one" daily, I had a few slip through my finger tips. Then finally when I decided to become a little more patient and look harder for one in the spring up she sprang. She is a 2005 limited with 19,500 on the clock. I found her in Florida and after much hassle with the bank upon our arrival we now have her in our possession and are on our drive back to Ohio. I am thrilled she has such low miles and am looking forward to the many miles ahead. I believe she does not have the f37 which makes me happy. I could not be any more happy with how she drives. We are in Jacksonville now and will be going up through Greensboro then up 77 back home so keep your eyes out for us. She is Atlantic blue.

Nice color and welcome to LOST you will love her in the moutian passes as your passing the bigger V-8 pick-up going up hill with your cruise still set. And they are all like but it is a liberty. My favorite so far with mine was towing a trailer with 2 4wheelers and a dirt bike up a grade passing a Dodge. The guy caught me at the next gas station and asked me WTF i had done to my liberty. All i have to say is get a GDE tune and and do the EHM and if you like a little extra look at me get and exhaust to get that intoxicating Turbo Diesel sound and let her breath better. MOST OF ALL ENJOY THE RARE DIESEL LIBERTY AND OF COURSE LOST.

Where about in Oho are you? I suspect since your coming up I-77 your going up north somewhere. I'm in Columbus and mine is Atlantic blue also

Since yours does not appear to have the F37 you should check the jeep site for outstanding recalls. Recently there has been at least one case where a dealership's technition has replaced the TC under the F37 recall with the newer updated now standard replacement and has "forgotten" to flash the tcm and ecm. To investigate further you need to know when it was produced. With that few mailes there may still be a paper sticker under the hood giving the hour and day. If not the sticker on the door will have month and year. Basically pre 11/05 has a tc prone to failure. those produced from 11/05 and on have one that shudders with the original torque.

Have a safe trip back. You'll run into snow at least by eastern Ohio.

Oh boy! I hope to see snow. You are correct we are going north, we live in Akron. After adding some air to the tires and seeing how clean it was I have since began to feel a little lousy for bringing her up to meet our salty roads. I will check the date when I head out this morning.

We made it back home safely Saturday evening and it was an enjoyable drive. The cruise was set at 75 all the way up 77 through the West Virginia turnpike and the jeep stayed in fifth gear the whole time. It was amazing to see how enjoyable it is to drive somewhere with the cruise and not have it downshift. I checked the manufacture date and it was 6/05 so I will have to keep an eye on my TC. On a side note yesterday was my first day back to school with a morning temp of 12 F and although plugged it I still have a little starting trouble. The first time it started great and ran for about 10 seconds the died. It would not fire back up so I figured it was either water/ice or air. I checked the primer and found my fuel filter was not sealing so I snugged it up, reprimed it and she started like a dream. I love the smell of diesel on a cold morning.

You might want to put a new fuel filter on your list. NAPA has them and you can save by stocking up on oil, air and fuel filters here

Come warm weather you'll also want to change transfer case fluid and both differentials along with antifreeze since it's over 5 years young
