 Post subject: BOOST SENSOR FILTER

Looking through the owners manual the other day and I notice that it has a boost psi sensor filter. I've never seen or heard of this on a diesel and I've seen a few. My only conclusion is that there is something in the intake tract that will plug or contaminate the sensor. Think I will reconsider ccv filter.

I see in the maintenance manual that it is check and replaced as needed at every oil change. You can see it near the right fender under the hood.
