Post subject: | Gauge Sensors Thread |
As requested, I am starting this thread dedicated ONLY to gauge sensors. I will start with pics of the sensors that I have installed and have pics of so far. Pics of my sensors will be added to post #1 as they become available(i.e. I take them). It has been very difficult for me to find any other pics of sensor installation locations so I hope this thread will help others out in the future.(oil, coolant, in block). Please feel free to add your own pics so we can all share this valuable info. Again, please let's keep this a SENSOR ONLY thread. No littering. Mods, feel free to help. Being one of those guys that needs 8x12 glossies with a paragraph on the back to understand anything I need step by step instructions. Could you provide a description of how you mounted the sensors? |

Great photos (although did you have to pull the turbo to do the EGT - or can you get to that from the bottom?) |

You can get to it from the bottom. Just remove 3 bolts to remove the bracket. Drill and tap manifold. Cut out hole in bracket. Install pyro. Remount bracket with pyro lead comming out through hole. Tip: You are going to need a really long drill bit extension (about 2'). |
