I just wanted to say I appreciate all the help I have gotten from this site. I have saved a bunch of money and time by help from members and information posted. Noobs, listen to the advice and do the mods. My 2006 just hit 60,000 miles and I got it at about 50,000. Since then I have had the EGR crap out and make it run poopy, I did the ORM, worked like a charm. I started losing oil, upgraded the worn out turbo hoses. I replaced the computer with a GDE Hot Tune and not only did it turn off the engine light, but it runs like a raped ape. I am getting a little shudder at full throttle, but again, most members said that would happen since I have the stock torque converter. Just replaced the MAP sensor since a member(thanks Aren) was so gracious to give me a good deal on his extra one after Moparpartsamerica sent me the wrong one. It looked exactly like the nasty one in the picture, so heed the advice and clean it regularly. Again thanks alot all, and noobs, listen to the advice, most of it is right on. Dan |

New member, I'm also very impressed. I'm also a member of AJC - American Jeepster Club. I considered that to be an extremely tight knit and well connected group (group buys, organizing custom remanufactured parts, etc.) but this is a looking to be an even better group. Seems to be a generally productive discussion going on across the board, and civil at that! Haven't met any @$#%s or trolls yet. I'll give it time, though  .

Well, If you are a CRD owner I don't think you can find a better site!  I'm sure there is some great info for other Jeep owners as well but I can barely keep up with this section

Have to agree, I've gotten so much good information and advice here. The posts are almost always polite and informative. There's so much useless trashing that goes on other places on the web. And the fact that some members here have stepped up and engineered real solutions for our trucks is really cool. |

If only the infidels at Chrysler LLC paid attention here. Probably would have been a few more years than just 05 and 06. |
