recently had the fluid's changed in my Transmission and transfer case. saw a spot of fluid on the garage floor and looked under it. it was wet near the rear of the pan. Possibility that they didn't tighten it back up good enough? thoughts? |

If RTV then they may not have put enough on. Degrease the area and see if the leak returns B4 trying anything... |

If they used a gasket, that's the problem... RTV only... no gasket. If they used a gasket, they also probably filled the trans with the wrong fluid too. |

I use a gasket (its reusable) and love it. No more scraping RTV and dealing with that mess. |
