I crashed my rear bumper against a concrete column and now I have to replace the rear bumper. I bought a new bumper but now I realize that it is attached with a few clips. The mechanic says that in order to remove the rear bumper, he has to destroy the existing clips. I called the Chrysler dealer and he says that if we handle them with care, we can re-use the clips for the new bumper. Who should I believe?
Other question is: To remove the old bumper, should I have to also remove the fenders over the wheels?
And then, if there is no way to salvage the old clips, how many clips should I buy? The Chrysler dealer says there are 2 kinds. And should I also have to buy clips for the fenders?
On the 06 parts fiche, I only found a drawing on Figure 13-310 that doesn't help me too much.
Thank you!

I paid $300 but that is because I purchased in Argentina where everything is more expensive.

The side fender flares also come with non re-usable rivets? I wonder how many rivets in total I have to buy.

And, the black rear bumper lips on the top are sticked to the bumper? Just glued?

Thank you. And the 2 small upper black plastic pieces go just sticked to the bumper?
