I am installing heated seats covers and looking to find a 12v power source. It need to be activated with the key (forgot to unplug and killed the battery). Where is a good spot???

I would tie into the trailer towing fuse on the driver's side fuse panel to pick a relay for your seats, it's a switched voltage. Then in the fuse panel by the battery hook into the trailer tow for the power to the seats. that way your seats can't mess with something else

True, but most of us here never visit any other forum section and prefer the advice of our CRD brethren.

Post forum location aside, have you checked the manuals to see how the ones on the limited are powered? There's probably a wiring harness that just needs a fuse installed to make it work.

This is a dead end, the cavity for the factory power seats cannot simply have a fuse added to activate that circuit.
