I am installing heated seats covers and looking to find a 12v power source. It need to be activated with the key (forgot to unplug and killed the battery). Where is a good spot??? |

I would tie into the trailer towing fuse on the driver's side fuse panel to pick a relay for your seats, it's a switched voltage. Then in the fuse panel by the battery hook into the trailer tow for the power to the seats. that way your seats can't mess with something else ![]() |

This really isn't a CRD specific question. |

True, but most of us here never visit any other forum section and prefer the advice of our CRD brethren. |

Post forum location aside, have you checked the manuals to see how the ones on the limited are powered? There's probably a wiring harness that just needs a fuse installed to make it work. Dan |

Dan This is a dead end, the cavity for the factory power seats cannot simply have a fuse added to activate that circuit. |
