Hey guys,
I found this (stumbleupon) while I was looking for a place to buy the ProVent for my 06 CRD.
Is this style of collection unit a good idea for the CRD?
http://www.angelfire.com/space/neon/catchcan.html

Also I'm getting the JBA 2 1/2" lift w/Al's A Arms.
What else should I consider for the suspension- e.g. type of bumpstops, quick disconnect sway bar, any thoughts are welcome?

Thanks
John :JEEPIN:

Looks like a TDI guy oil separator with a sight tube. Make your own out of PVC pipe and steel fittings, the plastic ones break and make a mess, been there done that. I used steel wool for the media inside.
Don't be shocked if the Mods move the post to the CRD Love that torque section.

I don't like metal fittings screwed into thin wall plastic. Others have gotten away with it but I prefer this:

I may have this linked write-up moved to the tech section. Hopefully the link will still work after that.

Thanks for the good info Squeeto.
I'll post mine when I get it built.

I tried the plastic fittings the first time around and they broke in the cold, made a big mess and I was not happy.
So far my metal ones have held up at -15F and are still going.
