I have only had the jeep for about 7.5K miles, but I have noticed a stinky brown haze coming from under the truck a lot since I installed the EHM(worse lately). It is coming from the hose and there is no drip, butthe hose is black inside. I halfway wonder if this is a sign of excessive blowby as I know that the oil change by the dealer was with the wrong oil(dino for gasser's) and dont know how long before I bought it the oil was wrong in there. Any hints on how to check without pulling the GP's to do a compression test?

A blackened elephant hose is normal. I trap the expelled gasses and condensates in a homemade water bottle filter. When the filter media (paper towel) gets saturated every three months or so it will smoke a bit. Seems more white than brown though. Whatever, I suspect there's nothing blowing out your puck that is abnormal.

I only really notice mine when its dark and I can see the smoke coming out the front lit up by the head lights. Looks bluish white, but the hose is a dark brown color.
