i have the code p0836 for a couple of weeks.when i take of the negative pole for hours i have no code but it returns when i use my 2,5 crd.also,i have changed the transfer case switch a month ago.i know what code means but what i have to do to send this code to hell?

Looking at the shop manual (8w-31-7) It's either the Powertrain Control Module, Transfer Case Position Sensor or the wiring in between them. Time to get the volt/ohm meter out and check the wiring. Also, check the sensor with the ohm meter to verify it's working correctly.
