Anybody have a used thermostat housing they are willing to sell?

I want to do the thermostat housing modification myself,(have machinist friend), but can't afford to have my Liberty out of service.

Contact me through Lost or email me @ wfd1350@hotmail.com. Please put "thermostat" in title line.

Thanks, Tony :D

Check out the 192 degree modified thermostat housing thread. A couple folks on the last few pages missed the deadline to get requests in and have spare cores.

For the record the 2.5 thermostat is different than the 2.8 thermostat, I suspect the 2002-2004 2.8 thermo is different from the 2005+ as well.

I don't know what you are saying has the same part number, but the 2.5 CRD does not share the thermostat with our 2005+ NA CRDs.

This is moot because it is unlikely that anyone besides myself will ever see a 2.5 CRD in NA.

I don't know where you are getting that part number, but the 2005+ thermostat is part number:
05142601AA

The part number for the 2002-2004 2.5 and 2.8 is:
05072705AB

Upon further looking the part number you gave, 05083288AA, is for the 2.5 in the chrysler town and country, NOT for the KJ.

HJ, I have a spare housing from when I changed the t-stat last fall. I'm not looking for money so if you can afford the shipping, I'll gladly send it your way. Let me know if you're interested...

I know, I think I am going to blame that mostly on language barrier.

It is a ebay ad. I googled KJ CRD 2006 and it came up - From: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thermostat-Chry ... 336d686b34
